What is a Cadetship?
A cadetship combines the best of both worlds: academic learning and real-world legal experience. It's designed for ambitious law students who want to gain a competitive edge while completing their degree.
Who is Eligible?
The program is ideally suited to tertiary students eligible to enroll on a part-time basis, studying two subjects per semester. Candidates should be in their first or second year of a law degree or dual degree and desire stable employment that provides comprehensive on-the-job learning until degree completion.
Important: Applicants must be citizens or eligible permanent residents of Australia.
Study Part-Time
Take two subjects per semester, maintaining steady progress toward your law degree while building practical skills.
Work 4 Days Weekly
Gain hands-on experience working 30 hours per week on a permanent part-time basis, immersed in real legal work.

Competitive Remuneration
You’ll be employed as a permanent member of our team, earning a salary between $60,000 to $70,000 FTE (reviewed annually). You’ll accrue all normal entitlements under the National Employment Standards, including superannuation, annual leave, personal leave, and public holidays.
