Civil Justice Advocacy
Social Advocacy is in Carter Capner's DNA.
Freedom of information, workers’ rights, insurance reform and air-passenger recourse have all featured in our long involvement at the forefront of the fight for fairness in civil justice outcomes.
Our many successful campaigns over more than thirty years – fighting against governments and insurance companies; and in other cases, lobbying them – have all been for giving a leg up.
To give ordinary citizens an advantage. To help them over barriers. To help them achieve their ambitions. Today, tomorrow and for every future generation.
In every case, by fighting to protect and enhance their civil justice rights.
Public advocacy on civil justice issues fuels the determination we apply day-to-day for our clients. To give them a leg up over adversity.

By observing – through our overseas colleagues and their professional associations – the forces working in those places to restrict the rights of individuals, we are forewarned and forearmed to challenge similar attacks on our civil justice system in Australia. Our international civil justice alignments deepen our focus on giving a leg up.
